And so, I shall end my Runa Rant.

So pretty much the entire summer, I've been telling my friend he needs to come over and play Heroscape with me, and that he would like it more than risk.

He did.

It was about 7:30 Sunday (night) when he came over. I built room 3 from the River of Blood scenario on my dining room table, and brought all my figures down as well. (Leaving ROTV, SOTM, and FotTA in my room.) I had Heavys and Tornak (170) and he had Kaemon Awa and Tarn Warrios (170) for our demo/lesson. (I lost. Freakin Awasome... but guess I deserved it for giving him that team, then coaching him.)

He was asking questions about height advantage before I finished explaining attacking.

He understood climbing and moving on water right away, and why we rarely allowed the use of Marvel. He took one look at Hulk and said "Awesome!" then looked at his point cost, and every other classic scape card.

We played two games, and the only problem(s) he...

I played through the original and expansion back in the day, and didnt feel like I missed a step anywhere. Even during the install screen, a complete [not as detailed] overview (in pictures, words, and a voice) of the first game and expansion fills you in on what has happened, and even a little more (Sarah Kerrigan and Jim Raynor never hooked up in SC, he just constantly hit on her).

Beginners dont start off behind, unless they jump right into multiplayer. There is a tutorial option, and when you go to multiplayer, there is a practice league, of [no more than] 50 unranked games.

Playing through the campaign makes you feel really comfortable with the Terran, until you realize that half of the upgrades and units are only available during the campaign....

Finally! I have become a site supporter! With a job, it now has become affordable to do things such as this! And Its about time for me to watch a good movie! Which I just did. (Grown Ups.)

I also read ALOT, J.R.R. Tolkien being my all-time favorite author, BUT--Robert Jordan's Wheel of Times series is my favorite series, hence the Aes Sedai's Great Serpent intertwined around the Wheel of Time symbol avatar.

My favorite band is Anberlin, but listen pretty much to anything. Except not so much rap.
