Ladders!

So, I just learned today that I've been using ladders completely wrong in HS for the past few years. It is one ladder for every two levels, not one ladder on every level.
Words can't even begin to express how stupid I have felt today. Needless to say, I'm not going back and re-re-updating these PDFs. They will just have to remain with jacked up ladders.
But seriously... in all these years... why didn't anyone ever tell me that my FotA maps weren't being build right!?!??!?! *sigh*

I assume you're referring to Virtualscape? It's impossible to put one ladder on every level in real life builds.

Well, I just never equated that it was two hexes high. I just never... connected... when I looked at it. And as I said in my thread, for some strange reason, I thought there was only enough ladder pieces in there to make two complete ladders on the sides of a castle piece, not four. So, with that connection made, I just always figured it was correct that 22 ladder pieces were right because of the way that virtualscape acted.
Needless to say... I have learned from the error of my ways. Hahahah. I just can't believe nobody has pointed this out to me for all these years. |

I never noticed it on your maps.
 I guess when you build it in real life you just build ladders up the whole side of the castle and don't pay attention to the count. I sure don't. |
