The fifth bit of tarot
It has been a few days since I have posted. Things have been pretty hectic around here with work not letting me get on and at home trying to get things ready for our "family trip". I do want to get all of these done though, so here we go.
A few of you have asked me to reveal your Signifier card. I will do that AFTER I get through the first 22 Major arcana cards. Then you can look back and see the one that is yours.
All of these cards are from Timothy Lantz's Archeon Tarot. I am using these images WITH his permission. If you would like to see more of his outstanding artwork please visit his website.
I left you off with card 17 the star, so now unto card # 18.
The moon shines light to guide your way, BUT the moon also cast shadows of deception. I think of the moon as a puppet master guiding a puppet along it's own path. The moon holds secrets and can trick you. The crow in the moon is a reminder of a secret to be revealed. When the moon comes up often there is something trying to shine through or reveal itself.
The sun provides light for the day and hides the darkness. To get the Sun in a spread is good news or happiness! I hardly ever get the sun, but when I do I have to pull off a happy dance.
Judgment is a bit tricky. The best way to describe it that I can think of is that it represents the end of a decision, or a consequence, or a time for closure. Judgment means it is time to make a decision and live with it. Judgment is not about balance as much as it is about moving on from a decision. The sword that she is holding down represents the finality.
The world represents attaining of a goal, or the self realization of a subject. It means things have come full circle. A person is at peace with everything. It is not the beginning or the end but both at once. It means you are the ultimate hippy! lol.
The World is the last of the Major Arcana cards from here I will go into the Minor Arcana cards. I will do that on the next installment. I don't feel that this post was very educational as the others were, but it is what it is.
I will leave you with the info to find which one of these Major Arcana cards are your signifier though. That might be fun.
Basically find where your birthdate is in the below dates and to the left is "your card".
The Emperor 3/21 to 4/20
The Heirophant 4/21 to 5/21
Lovers 5/22 to 6/21
Chariot 6/22 to 7/23
Strength 7/24 to 8/23
Hermit 8/24 to 9/23
Justice 9/24 to 10/23
Death 10/24 to 11/22
Temperance 11/23 to 12/21
Devil 12/22 to 1/20
Star 1/21 to 2/19
Moon 2/20 to 3/20
Until next time.... Thank for letting me share another of my hobbies with you. If you have any questions please ask. I am being pretty brief and politically correct.

Yes, I think they call those black areas.. solar spots. You can google it if you want to. lol
I have to keep it all age appropriate and some of the cards even though they are art may not be age appropriate. @ Shadesfan It is no problem sharing this stuff with you man, I enjoy it! I look forward to getting through all of them and explaining some of the other aspects of the hobby. There really is a lot to it, not enough room on a website for all of it. If you like art, and like deep thought. It is a nice little hobby that fits in your pocket. |
