Many 'Scapers have recently expressed an interest in multiplayer maps with differing start zones. Dignan has obliged with the BoV-nominated "Can't see the Jungle". Check out Dignan's maps and the wealth of other map threads if you want to try something a little bit different.

Thread of the Week

There's an interesting thread that's recently been started regarding the Deathreaver's Scatter Movement. Can a wounded 'reaver move? Can it vacate a glyph to be followed up by a healthy 'reaver taking its place during the Scatter phase? Or can you only Scatter "healthy" rats? It would certainly change the way many of us play the Roborats. Chime in and voice your opinion in Cover Fire vs Scatter or Which Comes First, Scatter or Rat Death.

The Fan Art and Fiction forum is frequently overlooked, but there are some very creative stories there. One such story is Having a Marvelous Time by Pumpkin_King. Pumpkin_King is getting ready to make an eBook of this story, and would appreciate some art or photos about it. If you have any talent in this area, and would like to donate something, please don't hesitate to PM him. It can be a drawing, a cartoon, or even maybe a photo re-creating something that happened in the story.

Got football on the mind? Wanna play 'Scape but the game's on instead? What is one to do? How about appeasing both interests at the same time. How? Why, fielding the Green Bay Vikings, of course. These Tarn repaints are brought to us by SnotWalker 8000.

Thread of the Week

How often will a Master beat a novice? Is it even possible to master the game? There has been some intensive discussion in both of these threads about how much skill and luck factor into a game of Heroscape. Some say it just comes down to the dice, while others argue that a players skill will mitigate the effects of luck. Exercise your brain and contribute to the conversation with your opinions, observations, and experiences.

It's fun to go back and look at what...

This week's hilarious image is from shadow scaper Deadmaxx. For those of you who wanted to raise your own Hivelord, here's your chance!

Thread of the Week

This week's thread is by MKSentinal. Entitled YoYo in Heroscape? the title to it is interesting enough. However, it gives a great new way to use Emirroon and a Ranged Elf Wizard as...well, as a YoYo. A lot of positive comments and great discussion have come out of this, not to mention a great new strategy.

Special Mention

Many of you may be familiar with the forum game The Curse of Ne-Gok-Sa. Recently, the game came upon the second anniversary of its conception by LordRaidor. In honor of two years of roleplaying awesomeness, LordRaidor has put together two very special games, both of a new "Masquerade" variant. Some of the most experienced...

Week @ Heroscapers, October 20

In tribute to National Heroscape Day, and in no small way, in tribute to the men and women who've fought and died for our freedoms to even have something so wondrously trivial as a National Heroscape Day, our image of the week comes to us from Imax.To the memory of the men and women of 9/11, and for all this country truly stands for, behold:

This double dice tower set is a custom tower made for Onacara by Imax. As Grungebob stated in this thread, this needs to be shared with the entire gaming community. Enjoy!
