C3G Strategy Guide
Foot Clan Ninja
Author: Lazy Orang

I love the 2003 Turtles cartoon that I watched when I was a kid, so I’ve been wanting to review a TMNT unit for a while now. The Foot Clan is one of the more intriguing and evocative units found in that range, so let’s take a look, shall we?

Analyzed Statistics

Left Box Breakdown
Species – Human (only really allows them to boost adjacent civilians)
Uniqueness – Unique Squad (4 squad members)
Class – Ninja (allows them to bond with Hand Ninja, receive a move boost from Karai’s Ninja Leadership, and be moved by Hun’s Foot Clan Alliance)
Personality – Devout (believe what you will, this does nothing)
Size/Height – Medium 5 (manoeuverable,

Parallax Design 2.0: Part 1
Author: superfrog
(with contributions from johnny139, Lazy_Orang, and Scytale)

Welcome to another edition of “Parallax Design”! In this article series, we get several designers to come up with their take on a design using a given miniature (or in this case, miniatures).

This time around, we’ve got johnny139, Lazy_Orang, Scytale, and superfrog on board to design two cards for these Starfinder miniatures:

Map Selection
Perspectives from Tournament Directors
Author: Flash_19

Between GenCon and National Heroscape Day, fall seems to be the best time of year to battle for the fate of Valhalla! This month’s article is meant to complement and build on our previous article—an interview with the GenCon map selector, OrcElfArmyOne—as we reached out to a handful of tournament directors preparing events for National Heroscape Day (or events being held soon). We wanted to learn more about their process for determining maps used in the events they host, and to see what insights they had to offer about the types of maps they prefer to use.

We at the ARV hope these two articles give you some new insights about maps used in the competitive Heroscape scene. While this article will not extensively quote the tournament directors that we interviewed,

C3G Interview: September 2019

C3G Interview
IamBatman
Author: Tornado & Heroscapers

Wow, ten tears goes by fast. That is right, in case you have not heard, C3G is celebrating its 10th anniversary and to go along with that I have managed to track down the Father of C3G in his damp cave of bats and subjected him to interrogation. Thanks to everyone who supplied questions. Time to get this party started.

Lord Pyre: How big, exactly, are your cockles?
Of my heart? Standard sized, as far as I know. I haven’t met a cardiologist, though.

MrNobody: When was the moment you realized C3G was really taking off?
I’m in disbelief on a daily basis. But the Fantastic Four Master Set was a banner moment for us and made me feel like we’d really left a lasting legacy.

Customs Creation
Designing for SoV Approval
Author: Scytale

Custom creation is a hobby, a creative pasttime that engages our ingenuity, our analysis, and our imagination. The ultimate result of our efforts are units that we can add to the Battle of All Time, playing with and against them on Heroscape battlefields. Some, though, desire more than that. Whether out of a desire to expand the units available for tournaments, or for personal recognition, or simply because they are so excited about an idea they want to share it with others, some wish to have their custom units approved for broad use by the Soldiers of Valhalla project.

To those that may be unaware, some Heroscapers community members have continued to expand Heroscape long after the line was officially canceled. Two projects, the Custom Creators of Valhalla (C3V) and the Soldiers
