Donít disrupt the classroom!

Posted December 21st, 2018 at 10:39 PM by flameslayer93
With the latest C3V release, (Wave 21, pack 2), I thought Iíd post ideas about itís ĎDisruptorí unit Boreos. I got a couple playtests in with him, and Iím looking forward to playing more of him, with and without Talingul. Iím loving how he is a rather potent Disruptor class unit, and has a few builds where he could shine as the MVP (or runner up).

But first, I should define a Disruptor class unit. Basically, itís a unit whoís job is to deny your opponent strong turns. The strongest Disruptors are Deathreavers. They can stall out melee units by screening them and taking away valuable attacks by simply leaving engagement with them. They donít do as much harm to ranged units who can still shoot, but they are effective at gumming up the map.

Other classic ones include Gladiatrons, Major X17, and Air Elementals (who disrupt in a similar way to Boreos). Sadly, all of these units are best at disrupting melee units.

Also, while they donít deny movement...

HS Codex Editor's Report

HS Codex Editorís Report
December 2018

Greetings from the Codex, and welcome to another Editorís Report!

If you didnít know, the Codex was a fan-made magazine back in the day, documenting all things íScape, including customs, maps, fan fiction, and the like. In 2014 it was revived, and in 2016 went to a purely blog-based format. You can find the full index of articles and past issues here.

The Codex relies completely on the time and interest its fans are willing to commit to it. If that wanes, so do the articles. Fortunately, Iím pleased to say that we have an amazing group of core contributors who have remained dedicated to putting out quality articles throughout the months. We couldnít do this without them.

However, the current

FFC #23 - TLFF Takes Shape (Part 2)

TGRF's Fan Fiction Chronicles - Entry 23

Mandatory disclaimer: everything below is liable to change at any given moment, in any direction, and with no warning.

TLFF is at last taking shape. The passive setting I've been after for so long is here (just a few details to whack out), and I'm beginning to get a good idea for when the stories will take place.

My original idea was that I would start at the beginning, with the discovery of the wellsprings, the ensuing power struggle, the rise of the Valkyrie, the alliances and betrayals... all that good stuff.

Now, it looks very much like things will be starting many years into the war. This is because the setting is composed of an effect of the wellsprings, and that effect needs to 'build up' before the story can commence. I won't say exactly what it is; best to leave that for when it's released.

All units will be accounted for (minus Marvel), plus some...

Spoiler Alert!

Game Summary:
Zombies and Tagawa quickly converged on Wannok as Raelin flew in for support, letting them quickly clean up the straggling Zombies on the hill. Angi responded by sending in DŁnd to try and paralyze my Samurai, but she guessed incorrectly and removed my X instead.

The Kozukes then rushed out and swiftly ended the Zombie Hulk and DŁnd before the 10th Regiment managed to kill them all the next turn. The Tagawa and Zombies then...
