So, does anyone else sometimes use sound effects or animate attacks/deaths while playing Heroscape?
I do a lot when facing myself, but today I had a roaring Feral Troll. Whenever he attacked, I just said "Rawr!" It was funny.
So, am I just crazy because I do this, or are others crazy because they don't do it?

I do a double *thwip thwip* for arrows when I attack with Syvarris

I think 'Scaper94 and I yell "medic" when playing with Kelda or Sonlen. Then I love going through the old redcoat commands for fixing a bayonet and charging when playing with the 10th Regiment.

I've been known to burst out "VOLLEY!" before a good attack with the 10th.

I always growl whenever using a creature that looks like it should growl. Mimring, Krug, Dund, the Nakita with the bad hair...

Whenever I use Sentinels and reveal an order marker on them, its "SENTINELS OF JANDAR!" See my thread "Campaign Corner" for the Mikka Connour March...

It used to be a mandatory rule in my house that, when someone revealed an order marker on Kaemon Awa that they had to scream "KAEMON AWA!!!!!" or they weren't allowed to take the turn.
I've also been known to hiss at people when I'm playing Venoc Vipers, and also to yell "MITONSOUL!" at the top of my lungs during tournaments when I roll a 20 for Runa's Helm. I also enjoy saying "It's a Trap!" when I roll for Admiral Arkmer's Engagement Strike. |
