Posted July 27th, 2021 at 09:26 AM by truth
ScapeCon 2021 is just around the corner (Wednesday, July 28-Sunday, August 1), and I'm excited to announce that we'll have an unprecedented level of coverage for this event!

Interested in watching some HeroScape action at ScapeCon 2021? Check out ISB3's Live Stream at https://www.twitch.tv/filthe! We hope to start streaming Wednesday, July 28th at 7PM Eastern for the Cheese Delta tournament, but if not, we will start streaming Thursday, July 29th at 9AM Eastern.

We will also be downloading and reposting these videos on to a Casters of Valhalla YouTube page if you can't tune in live!

Further, Dysole will be recording the events happening opposite of the events that will be streamed, and will also be recording Championship games as well! Sir HeroScape will also be recording his own games this weekend. Be sure to check out both of their YouTube channels post-ScapeCon for more games!

Thank you to all three of them for covering this...

TGRF's Reviews - Mistborn (The Hero of Ages)

Posted July 7th, 2021 at 01:10 PM by TGRF
I recently finished the final book in the Mistborn trilogy, so it's time to get down to the review.

Out of the trilogy, I feel like this book was definitely the best one. Sanderson kept up some unique style choices throughout the series, and in this book they started to pay off big time, increasing tension nearly every chapter. By about the last third of the book, the twists started coming thick and fast, as nearly every single loose thread and every seemingly-unimportant detail fell into place.

Ratings:
5: Amazing, above flawless.
4: Flawless, but doesn't really stand out.
3: Might have some issues, but works fine.
2: Has some issues which might detract from the story.
1: Flawed, bring the story down noticeably.

Title: The Hero of Ages
Author: Brandon Sanderson
My Rating: 4.25/5 - A great read

(Spoiler-free) Summary: Following the events of the second book, the heroes get down...
