Power Rankings Revealed II

Posted May 15th, 2007 at 09:02 AM by Jormi_Boced

The votes are in, and for this week of Power Rankings Revealed, the monkeys reign supreme! Gorillinators had the most interest from the poll in the Power Rankings Thread and the Ninjas of the Northern Wind came in second, so they are the two featured units of the month. While both squads are sometimes overlooked as tournament-worthy, one might be surprised to hear of their success stories on the battlefield. Once neglected as one of the worst squads in the game, the Gorillinators became increasingly popular with the release of the Nakita Agents. The Ninjas of the Northern Wind have enjoyed popularity ever since their release, but they are often seen as too D-20 oriented. Jormi_Boced looks to shed some light on how to best use the Ninjas, and spider_poison delves into the strategies and armies best employed with the Gorillinators.

The Temple - Chapter 2: Descent

Posted May 10th, 2007 at 12:19 PM by Who 'dat

Soulrazor Canyon lay in the heart of Lower Bleakwoode, surrounded by inhospitable terrain, and covered by dark, low hung storm clouds that never seemed to dissipate. The canyon stretched as far as the eye could see, and was so deep that sunlight rarely touched the floor. Sheer cliffs of red stone made up the walls. There was no known path to the bottom, and most everyone who tried to descend the canyon walls had perished in their attempt. Somewhere in the deep abyss of the shadowed canyon existed a stone temple from which myths were born. From this temple, it was told, one could hear the voices of those no longer of this world. It was said that the shrieks and howls of these cursed souls would drive anyone who came within hearing range completely mad. The residents of the nearby village had many stories of horrid encounters with the abandoned temple, and most said that the voices were not the only curse writhing within its cold stone walls. The villagers also...
