Another year down...

And so, here we are. I've been a member of this site for exactly 2 years this day. This is also my 20th blog...but that's not important. I've decided that for this, I'll do what MrMigraine did for one of HIS blog entries, Musings of a Retrospective Scaper. Except this one is much shorter.
Elffy
- So, since I have been here, I have...
- Posted 8,270 times.
- Been on the receiving end of Onacara's generosity AND harshness.
- Participated in 4 tournaments, with a losing record of 8-13. :P
- Learned to think a bit more, THEN post
- Attained the titles of "Becoming a Woman" and "So cute when bitter".
- Gotten rep (both negative and positive) from people I respect across these boards, which I like to think has helped my posting habits.
- Met quite a few people, including Spider_Poison and Jexik.
- Gotten a lot more 'Scape, though I'm not even CLOSE to having my collection complete.
- Been trying to find other games that are as fun as Heroscape, and worked on GETTING said games.
- Debated.
- Helped the Hangout traverse from über-spam hole to "Only kind of" a spam hole. And back. And now it's better again.
- Participated in many Curse of Ne-Gok-Sa's.
- Been present for the release of Waves 8, 9, and 10, Wizard's take over of Heroscape, and Summoner Wars' release.
- Seen many members come and go...and some come back again!
- Seen the power of The Nigh!

Congratulations on your anniversary! Such a thing would not have been technologically possible only a few years ago! Heck, when I was a kid they had just made a tape recorder first available to the general public...

Congratulations, Elffy! I just started my second year a HeroScapers. Great year.
However, I had a bit of a panic attack when I got the email saying my subscription was about to expire; I had no money in the PayPal account. But after a week or so's hiatus I was back in the black. |
