Magic Reborn

We have been rebuilding our custom game for about six months now, and I do believe that we will not be redoing it again. The pointing and playing system isn’t perfect but we have such a good idea of what we’re after- a good playing experience- that we are tinkering with stats and special powers to make everything as playable as possible.

We have retooled our mage magic system. There was a time when our game evolved rather quickly and became unbalanced and the mages fell away because they were not practical anymore. We had such good memories of them- teleporting here and there and using blocks to try and stop other mage’s spells, and then more blocks to try and block their blocks.

Spell success is determined by a 20d roll and different classes of mages have bonuses to the roll to make them stronger. There is a standard spell book with all sorts of different spells- from simple attacks, to flying, mist that blocks LOS and water walking.
