1025 figures and counting

This is my first blog entry. I just took the few hours it takes to sort all my army cards alphabetically and then enter them into a spreadsheet. I then laid out all my figures in squads and took inventory on those and placed that in the spread sheet. The final count was 1025 with a few missing cards and a few cards without figures (very sad).
I just ordered 500 10 mil sleeves to protect my cards and plan to heat seal the ends to make them water tight (for all those late night games in the rain).

as you can see I am looking to cull the herd. I don't see myself playing a game with 12 Mimrings or 6 Chros'.
I actually started collecting with just a master set and a pair of Rttff and a VW. Then I saw the Walmart specials on clearance and bought a pair. A booster here and a booster there then in the last year I started finding collections at garage sales and on Craigslist. Lots of people have bought Rttff and Orm's Return and I seem to get another every time I get a new collection. |

There ya go, man...pic as promised..lol. Waves 1-10 DONE- with many duplicates-. And only 3 more Aquilla's Alliance figures to go and only one more Genocon to get (Agent Shaken).

What you have in variety, I make up for in quantity. Now we need to get together and have a MEGA game with my collection vs. Your collection! We can make separate maps that we can connect in the middle and put it on 2 ping pong tables side by side. The battle would take about 10 days...unless we mod the rules to let every unit move each turn or something. (this is true fantasy, but imagine that.)
I do think you are ready for a Dragon Wars game or a game of Dragon Mastery (I'll send you the rules) |
