GAME SUMMARY:
I quickly claimed Wannok while Dawn’s knights advanced. Each side suffered a few casualties in the early rounds, but Kyntela absorbed Wannok well. The knights then flanked the glyph, claiming Wannok with Finn and skirmishing with the archers and Masha until Finn fell. The knights renewed their efforts, killing Masha soon afterwards.

Things looked bad for the Samurai until an initiative switch in their favor where they were able to land a few more kills from height. After that, the knight reinforcements...

Come meet our current ’Scaper of the Month, Astroking112, Soldiers of Valhalla judge and more!

PROFILE

Who are you really?
Bradley Wersterfer.

How old are you?
I just turned 22 about a month ago.

What is your occupation?
I’m a computer science student at the University of Texas at Dallas.

What’s the story behind your username?
Hmm. I think that it probably dates to a free McDonalds MMO that I played after school back in the 3rd grade (my mother was a librarian at my elementary school, so I would often be stuck using school-approved websites for entertainment). I can’t really remember the game that well, but my character was probably some sort of an astronaut. I quickly moved on to a different space-themed game called

FFC #49 - BOOM - We're back in business

Posted March 11th, 2020 at 01:42 PM by TGRF
TGRF's Fan Fiction Chronicles - Entry #49

Back in early January, I wrote an FFC about how I had discovered the 3-act-structure, and everything was coming together. Confusion was gone, knowledge was mine, and things were far simpler than they had ever been. I outlining stories faster than I had ever done so, and for the first time was able to break down simple stories into their structural parts.

That's what is known as the second half of the second act. The second half is characterized by victories. The main character, having learned the pivotal truth, goes after the main conflict with command and confidence, and wins many victories.

When I wrote that FFC, I was worried about only one thing:

Quote:
I'm a little worried, because the 3-act structure says that following those victories will be the deepest and darkest failure yet, but... we'll consider that later.
Well, sure enough, that darkest moment came. My writing...

The Extended Year

"What are you selling?"
-RE4 Merchant

These last few weeks have done their best to leave a foul taste in my mouth. My job closed up, resulting in mass layoff in my family. We knew it was coming, just didn't know when. Business had picked up since the last blog posting, but the customers weren't paying. The EPA has been hounding the company, probably because develops want the building gone so they can build a parking lot for their extremely overpriced condos.

I had spent the weeks following job hunting.

Then, on Sunday, my dad had to go to the emergency room. The doctors had said he had suffered from mini strokes, brought on by his blood pressure skyrocketing. There had been a little brain damage, and he's developed a kidney disease as well. At least we didn't lose him.

He got released from the hospital today. Apparently he went to go lay down; he's probably glad to be in his own bed.
