Battle 4: Ambush in the Tundra



After the embarrassing failure in the desert, the Heroes venture north. They set up camp for the night in a sight of what appears to be an old ruin near a glacier.



An insight on the game itself: I let the players of the Heroes create this portion of the map, since it was “their” encampment after all, and I built the rest of the map around what they built, filling in the monsters afterwards.

Battle 3: Escort Through the Desert




We turn our attention to a new band of Heroes. They’ve been given the task of escorting some precious cargo. A rich man in the West has purchased a rare Doggin creature from the Eastern Continent to keep as a pet. The Heroes must escort the Doggin across the desert, keeping it safe from thieves and predators.

A Human Monk, a Human Viking Warrior, a Human Divine Wizard, and a Human Samurai Archer were hired to protect the Doggin.



Ahead of them stands a pack of Wolves ready to pounce on a tasty Doggin treat…

This is a battle summary for the game Heroes of ‘Scape. Keep in mind these pictures were not taken during the time of the battle. The map was recreated (from what I could remember), but had to be compressed and dulled down a bit do to limited space. The original map was much more impressive.

Battle 2: Assault on the Elfin Base



The small band of Heroes has been plotting their revenge on the Elfin Base for their recent ambush. The Heroes have managed to gather some recruitment to help them lay siege to the Elfin base.



The group as a whole consists of a Dragonborn Paladin, a Dwarf Rogue, an Elf Cleric, a Human Fighter, a Warforged Warrior, a Dwarf Warrior, a Samurai Archer, and a Mind Flayer Psionicist. Ahead of them lies the...

I meet with my group of friends weekly for a Heroscape game. Lately all we’ve been playing is Heroes of ‘Scape. Although the scenarios don’t necessarily progress in any order, I try to connect them if I can. I’m going to start today by trying catching you guys up with the weeks gone by and to announce that I’m going to post my weekly games here. I would post them in the Battle Reports thread… but they aren’t exactly “Battles” and I don’t think people over there would care too much for these updates.


Battle 1: Ambush on the Hero Encampment



The small group of Heroes has set up a camp amidst some old ruins. To the North is a forest and to the South is a small river. A fire pit stands in the middle of the ruins where the champions were resting when they are alarmed by the sound of movement from the forest.
