Summary of Game
The Samurai opened strong, winning initiative early and moving on to nab height and deal heavy damage to Tor-Kul-Na thanks to some solid rolls. He managed to eat a Nagrub, but was soon separated from them and struggled to keep up with the archers while he was tied down by the Seishin. Things were going exceptionally well for the Samurai, with them only being down two figures and Angi becoming reluctant to attack the Seishin after Tor-Kul-Na was low on life and couldn't heal.

Game Summary:
Tor-Kul-Na initially brushed off the arrows as the archers claimed height and backed away from Trample Stomp, but got greedy and overextended into my starting zone while the following Nagrubs were picked off from behind.

He managed to Trample Stomp three archers (one in the first round, then two in my starting zone because I couldn't spread out enough in time), but each one was replaced by a Shinda Samurai. He would wipe them out with an attack afterwards, but still be locked down for the round because my opponent didn't want to disengage (once, a Shinda Samurai even managed to deal 1 wound to TKN through Counter Strike).

Once TKN was pinned down in my starting zone, my archers were able to whittle him down from height and pick off any straggling Nagrubs that attempted to make...

2. Arboris vs Nottinghams, for Real

Now that my friend understood how to properly use Millerson, she was excited to get the chance to play the Rogue army much more properly. She instantly wanted to go against the same opponent again on a new map.

Game Summary:
I wasn't able to witness any of this game as I was busy testing Gen. Simon Fraser, but now that both players had a more complete understanding of each other's armies and their own, I've been told that it was a much less close fight (in Player 1's favor).

1. Arboris vs Nottinghams

As a part of my recent playtesting event, two players who had never played the game before showed up, ready to learn and to fill out playtesting forms. One of them took a pre-built Millerson army that I brought, and the other constructed his own army out of the remains of figures from people who hadn't been able to make it.

Game Summary
The Sentinels of Grax both suffered early whiffs, taking them out of commission early on. Since both players were new, they also made their fair share of mistakes (near the end of the first round of games as I was walking around, I realized that they had been playing Millerson as if he got an extra attack die instead of an extra attack itself nearly the entire game).

9. Eltris w/ Charos vs. Nilfheim (Rematch)

As part of the recent C3V playtesting event that I ran, a couple of my friends offered to take some of my own customs that I was hoping to get submitted to the SoV. I wasn't able to play a game against anything of my own design, but it was nice to get them in the hands of others and to get their thoughts on them.

These two players in particular played rather quickly, since they were more familiar with the game than most of the other people, so they were able to get in two games on the same map before getting bored and abandoning the cause to play Smash Bros.
