Some Updates

We've made a lot of various little fixes though out the site but I want to highlight a couple of big ones.
  • You can now add preview images of the downloads in the download section. If you have a download in there it would be much appreciated if you could get some images up to go with it.
  • I've limited the height of avatars to 80 pixels, while the width can be up to 180 pixels. If you've got an avatar up already it would be VERY much appreciated if you could go in and change it to meet the new standard. This will help the forums read easier.
  • The other big fix we made that we feel makes the forums read easier is the strips containing user info at the top of every forum post are now darker, so that the eye is not so distracted by them, you can more easily zero in on the posts. This combined with the height limit should really help things out.

A Sneak Peek - The Wolves of Badru

Posted April 10th, 2008 at 01:14 PM by truth
Updated April 14th, 2008 at 02:49 PM by truth
The Wolves of Badru are a common squad coming out in booster wave 8. Paul Barclay from Wizards of the Coast made their stats public today on our forums.

DARKLORD BONDING
Before taking a turn with Wolves of Badru, you may first take a turn with any Darklord you control.

CLIMB 2X
When moving up or down levels of terrain, Wolves of Badru may double their height.

POUNCE SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 3. Attack 5.
A Wolf of Badru that moved but did not attack normally may use Pounce Special Attack. To pounce, choose a non-adjacent small or medium figure whose base is not higher or lower than 5 levels from the base of the attacking Wolf. If the figure is destroyed, immediately place the attacking Wolf on the space the figure occupied. If the figure is not destroyed, destroy the attacking Wolf.

Congratulations to Stinkoid – the winner of our Starcraft: the Boardgame contest! Those of you who listened to the podcast know the I Like the Color Purple thread was your chance to win the review copy of a fantastic game.

All those who responded with ‘I also like the color purple’ were entered into a random drawing for the prize. A big congratulations to Stinkoid on his win!

If you missed a chance to enter this contest, keep an eye out for future podcasts - other contests may very well be done 'on the sly' like this one.
