It's pretty obvious that I like Heroscape. Look at the name of the website, then back to this blog. The fact that I even have a blog means I like Heroscape enough to become a site supporter, but that's not what this blog is about. I wanted to show off what I do when I'm not on here, playing heroscape, or sleeping.
Photography.
Photography is a major hobby of mine. I'm pretty particular about my pictures, as you might have noticed from my images on the site. For every picture you see me post there's another five or so that just didn't make the cut. I take pictures of anything, but I specialize in wild animals. Believe it or not they sit still better than domestic animals. Here's a couple of pictures I've taken over the years.

I know I need to turn the datestamp off, but that was one of my earliest pictures. One that actually inspired me to take up photography.
Sketch Comedy.
I've posted a few videos to this site. The stop motion battle report, the heroscape commercial, and most recently the sculpt review. On top of the actual videos those were created for another purpose, to generate curiosity about heroscape with the general youtube public. That channel also hosts our sketch comedy series', which I will now talk about.
When I took up photography I also got into making videos. A few years later my brother, sister, and I along with a few friends got together and started a sketch comedy series. We do three different shows. Dueling Grannies, a series about a couple of crazy old ladies. Brainstorm, a series of music videos. And The R Show, which is our mainstay and is pretty much uncategorized. We spend a few hours every week making videos. We release about two a week, so we end up sitting on them for awhile. You can check out our channel here.
So that's pretty much how I spend my day other than heroscape(rs), school, and sleep.
Life is good.

When I read you uploaded "the HeroScape commercial," I thought you meant "THE HEROSCAPE COMMERCIAL!" Yours was okay. It took a little while to get to the point but you're right, HeroScape is way more fun.
You can easily remove that date-stamp from you photo with just about any photo editing software. Personally I'd just crop out the date-stamp in that photo. But for others, where it's inconvenient to crop, the "clone" tool will become your friend. |

I've seen that one and agree that it's a lot better. Mine was just a fun little experiment. I post it around from time to time when it's related to the current topic, but always with the disclaimer "as the main creative mind behind it I'll be the first to tell you how stupid it is, but it was fun to make". I strongly considered taking it down, but decided not to. It's a bit from my early days here and I want to able to point to it a couple years from now and say "haven't I come a long way"?
