8. Unreliable Seishin vs. Native Americans

Army 1: Tagawa Samurai Archers x5, Seishin Samurai x3, Raelin (495)
Army 2: Mohican River Tribe x3, Brave Arrow, Teeth of the Makwa x3, Kira Jax (500)

Note: The Seishin Samurai were played as Common Heroes like their SoV Submission, but with only 3 move instead of 4 (Honor Beyond Death also only gave 3 free spaces of movement). They also each spawn by being placed on Samurai Cards, limiting their respawn capabilities.

Furthermore, per @Leo Ultra 's suggestion, they gained a fourth ability that is pretty similar to the Skeletons of Annellintia. When they're destroyed, the D20 is rolled, and if they get an 11 or higher, then they return to a Samurai Army Card instead of being removed from the game.

7. Seishin vs. Knights + Gilbert

Astro: Tagawa Samurai Archers x5, Seishin Samurai x3, Raelin (495)
Odzaepher: Knights of Weston x3, Sir Gilbert, Sir Dupuis, Eldgrim the Viking Champion (495)

Note: Seishin Samurai played as Uncommon Heroes with 3 life. No other changes to the design yet.

GAME SUMMARY:
I set up a pod to the left near Wannok, but Odzaepherís knights reached it first. I was still able to position Raelin and stop him from reaching her thanks to a well-placed Seishin, though, and I left this pod up for the majority of the game. Odzaepher managed to whittle down my forces some with Wannok and revive a knight with Recall, but I managed to claim a 7-hex pod on height with my TSA and Raelin, which he struggled to break.

6. Seishin vs. Knights & 4th Mass.

Leo: Raelin, Seishin Samurai x2, 5x Tagawa Samurai Archers (455)
Astro: 2x Knights of Weston, Sir Gilbert, 3x 4th Massachusetts Line (455)

Sir Gilbert (3 wounds), 3x Knights of Weston, 5x 4th Massachusetts Line

Game Summary:
Leo won initiative and grabbed Valda, but the knights managed to overpower his advancing archers thanks to Gilbertís movement boost. A Seishin kept Valda, letting him take advantage of it for the rest of the round. TSA kept reinforcing the area and another Seishin replaced Valda when it fell, bottlenecking the knights as Raelin flew in for backup. I worked the 4th Massachusetts Line up and took some potshots at Raelin to try and free up the area, then Wait Then Fired at her again to leave her with 1 life remaining.

5. Mass of Seishin vs. Redcoats

Spurred by the concern over higher-point games in the Pre-SoV Thread, I wanted to test out my observation that the Seishin Samurai experience significant diminishing returns.

Game Summary:
Glyphs were never really used. Sonlen could've used Kelda at one point, but was caught on the other side of my forces.

I overextended after a couple of rounds and got her killed. She was still able to help the TSA reach 6 or 7 defense with the jungle and height, though, letting them reinforce the middle really well. This was enough to turn the tides in their favor, especially with some smart Seishin placements that...

4. Seishin vs. Orcs

Note: Seishin played with 4 defense instead of 5.

Game Summary:
The Samurai forces made a beeline for Gerda. Nathan split his attention between Arrow and Blade Gruts, but managed to do a good job of picking off some enemies while they developed. Unfortunately lost most of his forces to lava field damage, but the Samurai were regularly whiffing attacks and did no damage for the first half of the game to counterbalance this.

Eventually, Masha Shingai and Tomoe Gozen managed to tie down Grimnak and block off a key chokepoint, protecting his Samurai brethren for enough time to turn...
