Revising for play testing latest iteration of Captain Xue.

Most Heroscape games devolve into kill 'em alls. This scenario is an attempt to shift that focus . . .

They Came To Kahora!

It's all about the treasure, of course!

"Captains, you'd best watch your backs. No one can be trusted with so much treasure at stake!"

The Map. Echidna's Garden by All_Your_Pie.

All Glyphs are Brandar's Chests. 3 additional Glyphs will be placed on the Map.

The Crews. 600 points/player. Small/medium heroes only, Classic, C3V, SoV, AoA allowed, no Marvel. This will be a free for all. Each player must have, and will designate, one Hero to be his/her Captain.

The Betrayals. Every non-Captain Hero has the Stab in the Back Special...

D&D Onslaught! Just what I was looking for! From the core game.

Captain Akuma
General: Utgar
Demon, Unique Hero, Captain, Tricky, Medium 5
Life 5, Move 5, Range 1, Attack 4, Defense 3

First Mate
At the start of the game, choose a Small or Medium Unique Hero you control to be Captain Akuma's First Mate. After revealing Order Marker 1 on this Army Card, before taking Captain Akuma's turn, you may first take a turn with Captain Akuma's First Mate. Any Special Power on the First Mate's Army Card that would take a turn with a different Army Card cannot be used this turn. Any Unique Hero taking a turn as Captain Akuma's First Mate must be within 8 clear sight spaces of Captain Akuma.

After moving and before attacking, choose a small or medium...

Well and truly met!

Over the last several days, I have been obsessed with the creation of a new unit for induction into the SoV. I have been extremely self-indulgent about it, and pestered many of you with my constant revisions. You have all been very kind to me through it all.

I vaguely recall going through a similar process prior to Kha's induction. Then, too, the Community was nothing but kind and supportive.

So I am taking this opportunity to say "thank you" to you all for indulging me for all these years - and in anticipation of the unfortunate necessity for your continuing to do so in the future.

It's been 4 years since Kha was inducted into the SoV. Mucked around a bit since then with a few customs, as some of you know, but nothing really gelled - until now. Although just in the beginning stages of development, I'm delighted to present this beautiful sculpt

Here is the scenario for 3/18/23 (recently edited for clarity). As we are including AoA and there is only one of each card and its prox(y)ies, I will list the AoA units in the armies I have already built for this game, and invite the other attendees to do the same.

Remove original glyphs. Replace Start Zones with Swamp Water tiles (level zero). Place three power side down glyphs equidistant from each other on second level of Sand pyramid. Place a Brandar’s Chest on top of Sand pyramid. Place Water tiles on both sides of table and all around the island (at least five deep). Place new Start Zones in Water hexes on each team's end of the table (at least five hexes away from the nearest map hex.
