The download of the week is a contribution by Velenne. This is a comprehensive Heroscape campaign. The download includes 7 battlefield build instructions, one for each step in the campaign, and a rule set for playing through the campaign. It can be downloaded HERE.
Blog of the Week

Thread of the Week
Heroscape: A Reflection of Our Culture. Heroscaper HSisforcoolkids created a thread in which he detailed his thoughts on why he believes Heroscape is the right game at the right time for a culture that loves its mixed media.
Event of the Week
This Saturday there are several big event scattered throughout the states. There are events in Kansas, Kentucky, Texas, Florida, Oregon, and Ohio. Check out the event listings HERE.
The Week In Review
Well this is two back to back postings by me that are both Week@Heroscaper posts. I had considered highlighting Hahn's piece on Travel Scape as its own front page article earlier in the week, but I wanted to redirect traffic toward his blog in hopes that he would post more great articles there. I had my fingers crossed like the rest of you in hopes that I would have a news release come down the pipes, but alas it was not yet to be.
This Saturday we are scheduled to record our May episode of 'Scape Talk. As I mentioned on the last podcast I'm excited to have Mr Bistro on board, not only does he add a great personality to the cast but he has been very organized and taken a big weight off of my shoulders in taking care of the podcast prep work that goes into each episode. The podcast will be far more consistent in its release schedule due to his contributions. Look for the new episode to go up in early May.

NEWS RELEASE! NEWS RELEASE! NEWS RELEASE!
That aside, all good stuff here. I do like the community highlights, and appreciate the "Week in Review" briefing. I hope more and more folks begin to utilize and pay attention to the great resource that is the new blog feature. You can do SO much with it! Also looking forward to the upcoming 'ScapeTalk. The whole, 'Dynamic Duo' thing you two have going on worked out really well last month! Can't wait to hear what you two have in store this next go round. |
