The upcoming Wave D3 pack - Valkrill's Legion - was supposed to contain Exoskeleton Markers for use with the Mezzodemons. The Mezzodemon's card text refers to these markers.

It has come to our attention that those Exoskeleton Markers were instead put in the pack - Icewind Scourge.

So this means that for every pack of Valkrill's Legion that you purchase you must also purchase a pack of Icewind Scourge to have access to the needed Exoskeleton Markers. Wizards has not told us how their customer service will handle complaints about this. I imagine that if the company has any integrity at all they will provide the missing markers free of charge upon request...

3. The C3G releases some of it's units in waves. How do you choose which units go in waves and which units are created by themselves? Was there ever a unit that you wanted to be placed in a wave that didn't make the cut?

There was a bit of a groping in the dark phase where we were finding our way, but all C3G Units are actually placed in Waves at this point...

Wizards of the Coast announced today that it will be discontinuing the Heroscape line.

They've sited a desire to focus on their core brands as the reason. I know, shocking right? Wizards doesn't want to branch out from Magic and D&D?! Since when? For those of you who aren't well-versed in the history of Wizards of the Coast and hobby game publishing, that was sarcasm. Wizards has had a notoriously difficult time branching out from their core brands of D&D and Magic the Gathering. Nowhere is that more evident than their handling of the Heroscape brand. Rather than allow Heroscape to grow based on the brand it had established for itself, they chose to re-brand the product line to fit into D&D. Many rock-solid, even fanatical, Heroscape fans saw that as a jumping off point. Is that why the brand didn't work at Wizards? Maybe, maybe not.
