Wizard's Put Exoskeleton Markers in the Wrong Pack
The upcoming Wave D3 pack - Valkrill's Legion - was supposed to contain Exoskeleton Markers for use with the Mezzodemons. The Mezzodemon's card text refers to these markers.
It has come to our attention that those Exoskeleton Markers were instead put in the pack - Icewind Scourge.
So this means that for every pack of Valkrill's Legion that you purchase you must also purchase a pack of Icewind Scourge to have access to the needed Exoskeleton Markers. Wizards has not told us how their customer service will handle complaints about this. I imagine that if the company has any integrity at all they will provide the missing markers free of charge upon request...

Huh!?Huh? Why? You know I bet that was intentional so that they could sell more packs. Man sorry WoTC by that was retarded! You might as well walk up to 'scapers and mug them. Rant over
WoTC needs common sence. |

I don't know if you should call them and ask for freebies, especially if your going to send them a hex... They might look you up and send it back!! lol but hey you might also get a bunch for free hexes.

I just got off the phone with WotC customer support, they will send the missing markers (for 5 boosters, in my case), once I actually have the boosters and open them; they cannot ship the markers in anticipation of them not being in the booster, according to their policy.

Ha-Ha!According to DragaonSlayer2's pics there is actually three times the markers needed (6) in each pack of Icewind Scourge . So actually two wrongs might help as you only need to buy one Icewind Scourge for every 3 packs of Vakrill's Legion.

ok. this kind of ties into the main subject ... and I couldn't think of another place, so I'll quickly rant: one of the earlier comments mentioned "Wizards lasting legacy," they may not have left a legacy for me, but they've definitely left a lasting impression. I just opened my D3 packs, and there is the marker mistake. I had also forgotten about the different bases (which look so stupid). And if these two things aren't bad enough, they threw in little D&D fliers in each of the card packages?! What the hell. It was like a kick in the teeth each time I opened up a new pack. You know what, Wizards, I don't play D&D, and if you thought this would somehow win me over -- by putting your ads in my favorite game that you just bastardized and discontinued -- you should reconsider. And maybe not waste that extra paper. Whew. Sorry for the rant, fellow Scapers, but that's what happens. bg

I'm glad I found this thread AGAIN and read it AGAIN, because I just got my first two D3 sets yesterday and while opening the booster packs I found these cute little tan-ish (Ok - "copper" colored) markers and I could not remember what they were for and they certainly did not make any sense to be in the Icewind Scourge pack.
Anyway, now I know that I should put them with the Mezzodemons. Thanks Truth for the heads-up explanation and thank you fellow H'Scapers for all the hillarious ranting "WotC SUX" blather. &obtw: I totally agree with bgraves321 comments above... although I am suspicious that it was done intentionally for force additional purchases, I can forgive the packaging of these exoskeleton markers in the wrong sets as a minor mass-production / assembly-line error, at the factory level, not worth the time and effort to correct from a managerial position. BUT - discovering over and over (eight times) a glossy flyer in EVERY package that invited me to "...find a store near you... [that sponsors D&D-Encounters and carries D&D-Essentials]" - well that was ADDING INSULT TO INJURY and exacerbated my already comtemptible impression of WotC. May the undergarments of every corporate executive who played a part in this HeroScape debacle be infested with the fleas of ten thousand camels. |

Just use pennies. You don't need to buy all the Vakrill figures to use the Warmongers.
