Here at Heroscapers.com we love to show off the work of our members. The creativity that pours out of so many of the people on this site never cease to amaze me. Recently one of our members, known as C28525, refurbished an old table into a beautiful Heroscape themed table for playing on. He's going to show us just how he did it with some step by step instructions just incase you want to do-it-yourself. So let me just hand the mic over to C28525 here, and let him run with it.
From the mouth of C28525:
First off I need to give a big shoutout to InfinityMax, it was his initial design of a dice tower that inspired this table. He also helped get the sizes and hexes together to make this thing. He is a genius!
Ok, before the table just wanted to let everyone know this is my first time at doing anything custom….so some of my lines are off and there are a few small errors, but I am very...

Hawthorne Manor - Castles with Caravaggio

Well its that time again... A new terrain set has been released and so its time for Heroscapers to mark its entrance to the market by showing off what new amazing thing Heroscapers member Caravaggio has done with it. He's an architect and an artist, and the things he does with Heroscape terrain are nothing short of an art form.

From Caravaggio:

hola amigos!

it's been a while since i posted a new map but i got a lot of snow, found the castles and then grungebob and company were gracious enough to send me SIR HAWTHORNE....!

so here it is, HAWTHORNE MANOR. i hope you like it. (dont get too chilly looking at these photos!)

here's the man himself frightening off neighbors near the edge of the icy waters outside his fortress.

Fan Fiction in Valhalla

Posted August 30th, 2006 at 03:22 PM by Hex_Enduction_Hour
What do Heroscape fans do when they're not playing the game or running around hunting down expansions? For some of us, the creative side takes over and we create art or literature based around the characters and realm of Valhalla.

Heroscaper Roabula has started a photo-story titled, Jandar's Hope. Taking photographs of Heroscape figures and terrain as well as some of his own custom terrain, Roabula has created an engaging story of good versus evil, Utgar versus Jandar in the realm of the Kyrie. In a show of good community spirit, Robaula has allowed fellow Heroscaper Ultradoug to enhance the backgrounds of his photos.

Give yourself a moment to read the following tale. It may just influence you to create your interpretation of Valhalla and its warriors of all time.

"JANDARS HOPE" by Robaula

THE STORY SO FAR...

It was over before it had even started...

Grishnakh's Customized Terrain - Part II

Posted August 27th, 2006 at 05:22 PM by Grishnakh

Here's my next entry in my ongoing customized hex tiles thread. Above is one of my finished stream edge water tiles complete with tall reeds/grass. Here's a step-by-step on how it's done:

Materials:
You will need black, burnt sienna and white acrylic paint, Elmers glue in a squeeze bottle, water, a small paint brush, two colors of rock flocking material, field grass and some Heroscape water hex tiles.

The rock flocking material should be stored in large Ziplock bags. You will need brown and light gray. (Sorry I don't have the numbers for the type I used, I threw away the package a long time ago. The brown should match the burnt sienna paint and the gray is a light gray.)

Note: When I refer to “flocking” throughout this tutorial I will mean the hard rock material,...
