Another units-used update.

The Green Mountain Montage II today let us bring three 500pt armies from which we chose one to compete across some wandering monsters against the opponent.
Seven new units, spread quite widely across waves/generals/planets/etc. Atlaga and Protectors, with Raelin (RotV)'s help, went 2-2; Iron Man and the Warforged won a game while Marcu relaxed in the startzone and Kato and a swarm of Ashigaru won two. That's now 138 units, or about 63%.
Here are the new tables. Vydar goes back to the top of the general one, but the three-way near-tie is not really changed. Ullar continues to make ground. Waves 7 and 8 are getting close to complete. Kyntela is top of my wish list now; I'm eager to try her in an Acorlarh/Aubriens build when the right point total and format comes along. Moriko and the Groks are needed to finish out Wave 8.

NHSD tomorrow in VT features, as one activity among many, some eight-player single-elimination "alleys". I don't know how many I'll get to play in, but I have five armies poised and ready. If I play in five alleys and if I don't change my mind about armies between now and tomorrow (both pretty unlikely!) then the next update will see Wave 8 completed along with a good smattering of new units from across other waves (3, 6, 9, Marvel, Special) and new units from all of the generals except Valkrill.

...six armies: adding an Ornak plus DnD Utgar heroes one which would complete the planet Grut and make a dent in a couple of the DnD waves (not sure which offhand).

There's a Hydra in there to give me a fighting chance, but just the one. Both trolls are in too (I started by trying to make a troll army).

OK, I've stopped at nine. At least one new unit in each and sometimes as many as four (and the ones with just one are the trickier-to-use units). Two armies are entirely new.
So I'll just pick what I feel like playing tomorrow from the pool each time an alley starts.  |
