Two 2-Player Castle Games

Son wins a lot of games despite suspect order placement and army selection. He generally picks Kee-Mo-Shi and whatever figures look good at the time or whatever won against him last time if it wasn't him. We usually play symmetrical maps where unit choice doesn't matter.

However, the last two games he and I played, we brought in the castle for the first time. Actually, it's not a castle. It's just enough of a castle for us to pretend. We have six corner pieces that someone sold me on ebay for $3 as a "tower". We formed the six corners into a zig-zag wall. Son desperately wanted to be "in the castle" so I said okay.

Well, the castle brought all kinds of new challenges and exposed how I need to teach him some new strategic lessons.
