Getting the 3rd Wave out

Posted March 17th, 2018 at 02:33 AM by flameslayer93
I've been having my third custom wave ruminating for awhile now. I like how the first two waves came out (wave 1, wave 2), and wave 3 looks like it's going to be good too. Right now, I have to paint the minis for the Skaven Clansmen squad... even if I only get to paint one squad for the photoshoot .

I used the MtG figures to make some common squads, the first two were the red squads. I might try to give them some highlights with white paint, to help sell the figures. But, at least I don't have to give them a whole paint job lol.

Probably some of my favorite designs in this one are the heroes though. I touched Sir Lancelot's wording, and decided to put my Dark Wolf custom in this wave. Redesigning the Sarglagon, a water monster who can throw tsunamis at his enemies, is also a treat. And Emilia Clair, the psychic heroine was heavily designed by Tina. It really is thematic. Now I just have to get on the project...

I still have to update the Waves...

FFC #11 - What happened to the fourth book of Dan's tale

Posted March 17th, 2018 at 01:44 AM by TGRF
TGRF's Fan Fiction Chronicles - Entry 11

For those of you avidly watching my signature, you might have noticed that I've recently had a bout of difficulties with HiS, forcing me to pause development twice. I've worked out solutions to those problems, but they did involve a few changes, so I decided to let you know what was happening.

I had assumed from the start that HiS would contain four (albeit short) books: the opening on Isadora, a retelling of the Quest on Valhalla, a retelling of LBV on Valhalla, and then the conclusion, where I assumed Dan returned to Isadora. I've already told you this in other entries.

I knew the general sequence of events for the first three books when I started. The middle two had already been written, and the first got fleshed out quickly. The final book has remained a mystery until very recently. I finally know what I need to do with it:

Delete it entirely.

Well, almost entirely. It's still...
