The last game we played came down to three units. My wife remained on the board with Crixus (3 life), my son with Kee-Mo-Shi (1 life), and me with Charos (7 life).

My eclectic force of Nakita Agents, Shaolin Monks, and Kozuke Samurai had wiped the board until they ran into Crixus, Kee-Mo-Shi and the recently deceased Kaemon Awa, also controlled by my son.

All three units converged on my son's half of the battlefield inbetween two ruins.

Both my wife and I focused on Kee-Mo-Shi, not wanting to lose due to Mind Shackle for the nth time this year.

But before either of us could eliminate her, she wiped her last life point out herself on Charos' counterstrike. I was amused.

The game was set to come to a slow but statistically inevitable conclusion with Charos eating Crixus through his shield. However, Crixus quickly fell due to counterstrike just like Kee-Mo-Shi!

It was one of our more memorable game endings ...

I'm definitely looking forward to adding Otonashi to our family collection. I could have used her in our last game as I was 10 points under the limit and Isamu was already taken.

I think she'll be a great addition for anyone who doesn't use multiple uniques in their games.

We're looking forward to all the other new units as well and can't wait to see previews of the Einar Dragon and Marro Monster.

Our philosophy is all in the family and friends, playing heroscape competitively second and for fun first and not taking it or ourselves too seriously.

My 8 year old learned to play when he was 7 and is very good. His armies generally center around luck, his favorite unit being Kee-Mo-Shi. He once elminated my last 4 characters in a game I was sure to win, killing 1 and mind controlling the other 3.
