Best Army Build: Marcus, 10th, and AE. Just pure awesomeness.
Best Strategy: Dropping at the right time, if that's considered a strategy. Favorite part: The Drop, duh, they would be nobodies otherwise. Fond Memories: They've been nice all around. Bad Memories: When a friend of mine thought they could drop after every turn...grrr.. If I could change one thing: I would give them swords, I did a custom on the one in the bottom left giving him a sword, and it looks a lot cooler |

Fond Memories: Dropping on Round 1, and rolling 2 perfect grenade rolls (the other 2 took height) and taking out 8 Zombies and a Divider in the first turn.

Wow, eight zombies with a grenade. That seems a whole lot more realistic than most times that I've played with them. :P
Fond Memories: I haven't played these guys in a while, sadly. But, I do recall at FF 3.5 that over half of someone's army (it was syvaris's, if I recall correctly) was blown away by the AE. That was fun to watch. ^_^ |

1) These guys function very well in nearly any army build as a shock/ranged support unit. I love pairing them with Runa/Minions, since Runa and the Minions are moving cohesively and both present a threat. When the AE hit the board, the opponent really doesn't know what to do. They excel very much with Deathreavers, since the rats protect their 2 defense and draw the game out to ensure they Drop.
2) Counterdrafts are the Krav and Drake, most notably. Braxas hurts, too. 3) The Drop is just an awesome power - it's so fun and thematic. 4) I drafted the AE in my first game in the GenCon RotV Draft tournament in 2008. They refused to drop for the first 4 or so rounds, and I found myself with just Ne-Gok-Sa on the board against Drake, Raelin, the Izumi Samurai and maybe Finn. Just as Drake was moving in for the kill, Ne-Gok-Sa hit Mindshackle on Drake, prolonging the game. The AE Dropped in for the rescue in the next round and wiped out the entire board. Awesome. I don't really have any bad memories about the AE. They did wreck my Hive at NHSD 2009 once, I guess. I wouldn't change anything about them - they're awesome. |

AE rock. Love getting the 1st turn drop with initiative and decimating my opponents army. I also love dropping them right on to height.

Fond memories: Mindshackling them with NGS way back in the day, during a CTF FFA when my opponent dropped them at the last possible second to try to prevent my win (hint: I won anyway).
