Thinking About Heroscape

All I can think about is Heroscape. If I am not at work, I want to play. I have been leaving a board from the BoV maps on my dining room table and my son and I will play a modified version of the easy game.
We don't use cards.
Move 5
Range 1
Attack 4
Defense 5
The 20 sider is used once at the beginning of the game to see who starts.
Then we take turns moving and attacking and defending. It is great fun.
Keep in mind he is only 4 years old. This easier version is fun for him and it is building a love for the game. I will be happy when he is old enough to play the full version with me. It will be such great times.
Also, I can get both of my daughters to play, but the youngest really likes to play. She will play by with me 1 on 1. My oldest girl will usually only play a 2 on 2 battle. Anyway, when they play we play the basic side of the card. In the next year or 2, my middle child will be playing the full game with me.
I am done rabbling about my need to scape.
I need to read a few battle reports. I need to learn how to write one.

Welcome to the addiction. Maybe in a year or two you can upgrade to the Basic version and eventually to Advanced.
When your son finds a love for comic book characters, C3G will be waiting for you. Welcome aboard. |

Welcome Mr. Pi.
Playing with kids is one of the best ways to tap into the magic of the game. I look forward to your battle reports! |
