This is a neater way of storing my playtests for my customs that I want other people to be able to see. I mostly intend on posting about units that I'd like to submit to the SoV.

IF YOU CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT... by Dignan
Glyphs: Dagmar (Initiative +8 ), Valda (Move +2)
Astro: 3x Tagawa Samurai Archers, 3x Seishin Samurai, Hatamoto Taro (400)
Angi: Rujin, 4x Durgeth Ravagers, Siiv (395)

Surviving Units:
3x TSA, Hatamoto Taro (unwounded), 2x Seishin
~245 Points Left
About 75 points more were destroyed, so closer than points imply. Probably ~130 is fair.

Game Summary:
The Durgeth were able to claim Valda initially, though the TSA spent that time gaining height and were able to clear them off without too much trouble. This proved problematic for the Ravagers, who struggled to reach the well-developed archers backed by Hatamoto Taro.

Siiv then came in and absolutely wrecked house against the Samurai, who weren't able to kill him until he had done a considerable amount of damage. He also wasn't slowed by the Seishin on account of his Disengage. Once he did finally fall, the Durgeth still weren't in a great position.

The Durgeth were never really able to regain their momentum. Few died to Counterstrike, but their Hide in Swamp ability wasn't hot and they dropped like flies before they could deal too much damage. Rujin did manage to come in and extend the game for nine more turns because he was able to instantly heal Counterstrike/Disengage wounds and the TSA struggled to deal enough damage, but he wasn't able to do a lot of damage on his own and eventually fell once Angi stopped trying to prolong the game by running away.

Power Usage:
A total of 5 Seishin were placed (only one TSA died and was unable to be replaced by a Seishin because all were on the board).

2 were killed, 1 was thrown in lava to free it up for repositioning later, and 2 were left on the board when the game was called.

The Seishin killed 2 Ravagers with attacks and dealt a negligible amount of damage to Rujin.

Seishin killed a total of 3 Ravagers from CS.
Also dealt some CS damage to Rujin, but it never stuck.

Notes:
5 defense is definitely too high. If not for the swamp match-up and addition of Siiv, they would’ve been very oppressive for the melee match-up. Going forward with a reduction to 4 defense to see how that plays.

Hatamoto Taro was a good addition to this army.
