Well, it's that time again. A tournament. In June, but hey. Early bird gets the win, or something like that. Early Elf(fy) smashes the Spider(_Poison)? Yeah, right. Anyways, Minnesota is hosting their very first TEAM tournament. Fun fun. Premade teams, or you can show up and they'll match you with someone...or some other details that escape me at the moment. Well, I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I've realized this: There IS no good way to go about this. They've made criteria so difficult to work with. I mean...well...just read this quote:

Well, today is it. After 2 whole days of waiting, its finally here. Now, the count-down to Christmas begins. Now, some of you, if not most, have kids. What do they expect on their birthday? Scratch that, what do MOST expect on their birthday? Well, if they're smart, 'Scape. Some want money. Others want toys or candy. I wish I that we didn't have a fire when I was that young. Then I could afford to want stuff like that. (Thats right, we were to poor to afford the ability to want. ) Apparently, I want...nothing. Odd, right? But I'm still hoping to get at least $15 so I can get some 'Scape and gum, because I'm running out of that. So yup. Happy 15th to me.

Tournament is over. I have no idea what I placed, but I'll update when I do. I met some new people, got a cool Badge thingy, and had some fun. So lets get down to business.

Round 1: Fire Isle against hoju's Dad: Krav, Raelin (RotV), Jotun, Syvarris
The hilight of my day, was my first match. I took down Jotun with only 3 Glads dying from 1 throw to the lava, and a Wild Swing. Then, Syvarris came in and took down...EVERYTHING. I FINALLY took down Syvarris, and was down to Rae-Rae 2 wounds, 1 Glad, 1 Blast, and Isamu. Glad engaged his Remaining Krav and his own Raelin. Isamu came in, and took Raelin down to 2 life. Raelin attacked with a perfect 3 skulls. Isamu MISSES HIS VANISH, and, while in Rae-Rae's aura, rolls THREE SHIELDS. He succeeds his next vanish against Raelin, but misses again on a 2 skull roll. Rolls TWO SHIELDS AGAIN to save...

So, Rochester Gamers Reunion Heroscape Tourney coming up. On Saturday. Thats right, 3 days. The tourney, if you haven't read ANY of the other 2 blogs I posted, is 510 points. I'm really just here to say that I hope I do well. Not much smack-talk has been happening, so far. Spider_Poison is gonna be there, so I'm kinda hoping to lose to him, if anyone. Actually, it'd feel even better to BEAT him. I'd go home with 1st place, in my book, if I took him down. Actually, if half my wins aren't from a BYE round, I'd be happy. So, just some pre-tourney ramblings. I'll be back on Saturday/Sunday with a tourney report, then a Post-Tournemant ramblings.

Well, I'm back for another seemingly meaningless blog post when it's right next to truth's on the list.

So anyway, today I was talking to Billtog on AIM, and he told me an interesting army, which obviously wasn't that interesting since I don't remember it. Not the point, but I remember it had Aubriens and Arkmer in it. That got me thinking. Arkmer is good with short range, and so are Aubriens. He's also good when people engage him. So are Ashras. So now the problem. How in the world do I move these guys? I mean, 18 squad members and a hero? NO WAY, is this army very mobile. But wait! Emirroon! I have 100 points to spare, and Emirroon is 80! 20 points of filler...Isamu/Otonashi? Tricky personalities are there...no. How 'bout Marcu? No, his chance of attacking me is still pretty good. Kyntela! She'll boost Arkmer and make the Ashra's even more deadly...or harder to make dead. So, Elf Horror:
