Just finished it. Bistro, when you want to finish our jousting of words, give drop me a PM. (your next, Grungebob!)

Is it really jousting when Bistro has a lance and you have a whiffle ball bat?
(Whoever tosses a quarter for that one really needs help) |

That intermission music is pretty...odd.

I don't know. I like the intermission music. I also like the intermissions, because it gives me time to get up, stretch my legs, get some popcorn, etc...wait, I can pause it?

hey, is there any way u can split future scapetalks into segments? I mean, i've found that i generally don't have time to listen to the whole thing, and i want to be able to listen to the parts i'm intrested in.

How are they supposed to know which parts you are interested in?

that's not what i meant. I meant having 1 giant podcast and ALSO splitting it into segments titled by their subject matter.
I think i need to learn how to express myself better. Everytime i post anything people think i'm a whiny brat. |

You are not a whiny brat..and I knew what you meant just poking a little fun.
I usually listen to the first part of the podcast which is always about Heroscape and then when it goes over to another game that I may not be interested in I fast forward till it comes to the email and voicemail portion of the show...and then when I have time I usually listen to the entire thing. |

Great Podcast. I liked the talk about other games. Thanks for the review on Mutant Chronicles. I do agree about the time required to play Marvel Heroes, my nephew (21) and I didn't even stick it out to finish our first game. As for Monster Menace America, I purposely took this to a previous HS gameday(in June) to expose some other scapers to it, and it was some light hearted fun. Lastly, I have a copy of Thunder Road, I originally played it in elemtry school...good fun and really easy to learn. I never played Car-Wars, but I have been tempted because Thunder Road was a good experience for the theme.

'ScapeTalk 19I laughed when I heard that he forgot his spiders in battle. I have had that happen to me before too.

I was listening to the podcast to check for errors before it was posted, and heard Jerry's bit about about Thunder Road again. I immediately went on eBay and got a copy for $9.99. Can't wait for it to get here.

Fun podcast, as always.
I liked Grungebob's referral to Elstree as a Bunjee Jumper - classic! Are all the dirge figures from Age Of Mythology? I recognize some of the figures but not all. And I agree with Grungebob that Sujoah is the coolest new character. I like the potential of the poison attack even though i have had terrible luck with it. I still think Sujoah is the Q9 counter - just haven't been able to make it work yet. keep up the good work guys and I'll see you at Gencon. |
