Game Summary:
Since Hawthorne's untimely betrayal significantly hampered the knights' progress in the last game, I wanted to see this match-up again. I won initiative and my defense dice didn't fail me as I advanced my very slow knight build forward.

Leo overextended with Masha on OM2 of Round 1, letting me gang up on him from height under the hopes that the defense penalty would slow down my knights. Hawthorne didn't manage to deal any damage (to him or me, thankfully), and the knights were mostly unsuccessful on their first attempt...

Game Summary:
The knights won initiative and moved out Hawthorne, who immediately rolled a 1 and betrayed them.

After that, they struggled to recover. As the TSA slowly moved up onto level ground. On OM3, Masha rushed out and killed a knight, and one whiffed against a stray arrow earlier in the round.

The next round, he took OM1, but instead of retreating behind a line of TSA, he rushed out further to try and kill a KoW going for the Movement glyph, but the attack was blocked. The KoW then spun around to grab...

Game Summary:
Me-Burq-Sa and the Romans won initiative, quickly claiming the movement glyph. Masha rushed out to engage some Romans, and a stray TSA managed to engage Me-Burq-Sa. Unwilling to be tied down, Me-Burq-Sa took a wound from a leaving engagement attack, but managed to take down some archers with him.

With Masha further away from my starting zone and the Roman Legionnaires being the main opposing force, I was finally able to abuse the line-of-sight-blocking trees and 4 range on the aura to avoid it the next round, only losing...

Game Summary:
The Tagawa Samurai Archers rushed out after an early initiative win to try and claim the defense glyph, but they absolutely missed every attack and made a poor show. They couldn’t keep up with the massive mobilization of an excellent army that Leo so rudely decided to take against the TSA. After the initial squad was cleared out, they couldn’t get away from Masha’s aura of terror, bringing them down to 1 attack (or 2 on height) as a result, which was devastating.

With 7 range, the Blasts were able to easily stay out of Masha’s aura, and with being able to move 8 figures...
