This is a neater way of storing my playtests for my customs that I want other people to be able to see. I mostly intend on posting about units that I'd like to submit to the SoV.

Note: This playtest was done with an earlier version of M.A.R.S. at 4 attack instead of 2. I also didn't write this report; it was written by Dawn after she played a game against a guest.

Game Summary:
My army had the move bonus almost the entire game, save the very beginning when the opponent had it and shortly afterwards when I forgot I took control of the glyph. That really helped the slow zombies and the slow M.A.R.S.. No Nagrubs were eaten by the opponent to remove wounds, which I think would have helped keep her in the game longer. Two squads of zombies had been killed when only two squads of Nagrubs were killed, so the opponent was winning on points in the beginning. The zombies would have been all taken out much earlier on if it weren’t for the fact that they can come back. Drow Chainfighter and Akumaken were never even moved. The lava never took out any figures.

Usefulness of Powers
I used M.A.R.S. once every round most of the game, then used him more towards the end as my zombies dwindled down. Opponent did not seem to try to avoid grouping up figures as a defense against M.A.R.S.’s special attack. I wiffed once when trying to use special attack. Got good use out of him, killing a total of seven Nagrubs throughout the entirety of the game as well as placing at least three wounds on Tur-kul-na. Used the special attack more often than regular attack because the Nagrubs have low defense anyway, so I felt confident with merely three attack dice hitting more of them. Special attack definitely not as useful on figures with decent defense; should opt for regular attack in that instance. His high range was very helpful considering he is pretty slow and doesn’t have much life. I tried to keep him back away from opponent’s figures and take advantage of the range.

Additional Comments
I thought it seemed like a balanced figure because even though you can attack more figures when using the special attack, the amount of dice you can roll went down and you would no longer get height advantage. Served me well but would have died fairly easily if the opponent had engaged him more, as she should have.
