Heroes of Star Wars Scape (HoSS) Master Set: A New Hope


A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...




It is with great satisfaction and excitement (and relief) that we proudly present this Master Set to you! It was a lot of work, but we have enjoyed it. We think the content is awesome, and we hope you will think so too! We have worked hard to give this set a delicious Star Wars flavor that brings the events of the movie to life, and we are really happy with how everything has turned out! Han and Chewie make an amazing team; Obi-Wan does all he can to protect Luke and can sacrifice himself to aid Luke posthumously; Leia is an indispensable inspiration for her troops; and Darth Vader can walk through just about any army single-handedly! Sneak into Detention Block AA-23 with your Rebel Heroes...can you save the Princess? Or, try to survive...

As we have been preparing for our Master Set Release, The Force has been with us. We have made great progress:

• Finalized and carded 9 of the planned 17 units, with 2 more that are very close behind. (see the HoloNet News thread for a minis list)
• Map list is final or near final. Thanks to the community for all of the excellent submissions to our map contest!
• HoSS Rule Book is nearly complete.

However, we want this release to be as high quality and well polished as possible. Which means that we still have work to do. Unfortunately, we will not be ready to release on May 4th.


Work remaining:

• Finish up testing on the remaining 6 cards. Most of the designs are close, and just need some playtests to validate
