I do my own pics for my custom designs and I just need to say--D&D minis have really crappy paint jobs.
The pictures WotC use have fantastic paint jobs and in no way give an accurate preview of what you will get.
Heroscape, however, usually had decent paint jobs and the pictures were much closer to what you would actually get.

I don't really agree... I've ordered at least 200 D&D Minis from Auggies and the paint jobs are just as the pictures are. I do, however, agree that the figure quality isn't the best... I just don't really like the material the minis are made of.
But I completely agree that 'Scape has much higher quality, and is amazing. ![]() |
