Greetings. Here comes a real blast from the past from one of C3G’s youngest members ever. He eventually worked his way up to Hero status and recently has been making a little noise again in the the land of Heroscapers. It is an honor to present this interview with Scapemage from 5-28-2011.
What is your favourite aspect about C3G?
My favorite aspect of this project is the opportunity to be a part of something big and important.
What made you want to join C3G?
Again, it’s the ability to feel part of something important. And, at the time, the ability to design customs and get expert feedback.
What is your favourite part about being a C3G Art Department member?
I love the Art Department. Learning how to make the cards and all the tricks from A3n and GreyOwl has helped me make my own personal customs look better.
You’ve Lead Designed many units for C3G, what is your favourite?
Not that many, but my favorite at the moment (and probably will remain) is Arkillo, my first Lead Design. I like Green Arrow and Jonah very well, but haven’t gotten a chance to use either of them yet (I can’t find a Jonah mini anywhere and just got the GA one).
Do you have a favourite combination in the game?
It’d be a spoiler if I told you.

- I am not yet in high school.
- ½ of all HeroScape tournaments I’ve attended, I’ve hosted.
- I haven’t played DC Universe Online in months.
- I have only ever played 4 casual C3G games.
Answers:
- “I am not yet in high school.” This is true. I turned 14 on Friday and will be entering high school in September.
- “I have only ever played 4 games of casual C3G ’scape.” This is true. Well, it was at the time. I played a casual game on yesterday afternoon, making the count 5. Ok, ready … the lie is ...
- “Half of the Heroscape tournaments I’ve attended, I’ve hosted.” Surprise! I’ve attended around 10 tournaments, and only hosted 3. I got ya, didn’t I?
- I have not played DCUO in months. The game came out in January I believe, which is when I bought it. It comes with 1 month, which I used. I have not paid for any more months after that. So, I have not played since February. I love the game, but don’t have the money.
What are you most excited about for your new job as Member of the Week writer?
The fun of questioning innocent souls.
Do you have any words of advice for the allies?
Tread carefully.

If you could have one superpower in real life, what would it be?
Do you have any rituals when you playtest, such as music, favorite map, or snack?
Superspeed, easily. And no rituals, sorry.

Heh, it's quite humorous to me to read my ramblings from long ago. I don't believe I was a hero at this time, as it sounds like I only had 3 designs under my belt when this was done. I hope everybody enjoys my banter!
