Finally...

Again, I have something of pretty much no value, but I just want to share. (Also as a warning)
A while ago, on Labor Day, we had our grandparents come over from Minnesota. I had all my 'Scape dominating the family room, so my dad made me put it all in the basement. Not very fun when you have ~ 4 rotv, 5 sotm, 4 bftu, 4 fota, and many other small sets.
So that was done after a bit. Then our grandparents came, and I got pretty bored. Later, they left, and I soon went to school.
A while later, I felt like playing some 'Scape. I then remembered where it was, went down, and spent a lot of time trying to find all the materials to build a 1 BFTU map. So I brought that up, and slooowly brought up more tiles.
As of yesterday evening, I brought up my last tile, and I have now decided to do everything I can to keep it on the main level. (My basement is really cold) The amount of time spent was not fun. (Now I'm not looking forward to moving as much now.)
And now, it wasn't probably as good of a decision, but I made a gigantic map.
Now it'll probably stay up for at least a week, and take several days to take down.
Moral of the story: Don't put your 'Scape in the basement for storage.
___
Other news:
We got a new car today. Much smaller, and dark-grey. My older sister named it "the Chipmunk" because, apparently, if you look at the front of it, it looks like a Chipmunk.
I have now remembered why I hate this time of year. I have my birthday in a little under a month now, I'm waiting for an order of 'Scape that I bought, and I'm anticipating Christmas. It's just getting hard to wait.
Once again, I have a blog of useless ramblings that you probably didn't read.
Maybe I'll come up with something better next time.

That's the castle being used for your Heroes of 'Scape campaign isn't it?

I would play Heroscape in my basement. At least I would have someone to play with. The Mice. Ewwww.

You don't need to introduce a piece with a disclaimer. Your audience will tell you whether it was worth writing or not...

Great map! That castle looks awfully intimidating
(especially to people like me with only one set) |

Yes, nice castle. I think you should redo the basement into a Scape cave! Maybe you could get the parents to pay for some renovations or supplies in exchange for getting their family room back....
