Grok Rider Origins

I got my hands on some very cool early concept images of the Marro Cavalry from Wave 8.
As you can see the designers played with a couple of weapon variations early on, and had some cool variant mounts, including horses with Su-Bak-Na style tongues.
Maybe we'll see some of these design aspects in the marro's future?
Which is your favorite? What are your marro unit ideas?

personally....I like the first and last one. For some reason i cant stand the wierd subakna horse thing

I actually like all of them..I wish the actual figs had their mouths open like the pics as opposed to those silly grins.

What ever happened to the guns the marro warriors had? those where cool and they should make marro solders with power backpacks or something.

i do agree that the first and last look coolest (and i think the maces are a special touch) but i wish the groks looked more like the pic and less like the figure does. but when it boils down my only problem with the grok riders is the stat drop they recieved (compared to the templar calvery) -1 move -1 height +15 point. very sad. but that wont stop me from having 18 of them for my marro army (i can't wait for more marro warlords

I think it would be cool to have riders on something like Wo-Sa-Ga, but with armor like all Ne-Gok-Sa and Tor-Kul-Na.

I think some marro guards for Su-Bak-Na would be cool. A unique squad of 2 marro on smaller dragons would kick butt.

Hmm... now that's an idea. if you have Marro on dragons you could have the fire-breathing ability and everything. I like the sound of that!
