Image of the Week.
Keep cool this summer with Purplebeard's Winter War. He did not make a thread featuring this map, although I would really like it if he did. It's very hot here in Indiana right now.
In Other News.
Last month I was asked to make an announcement congratulating Elginb on joining the Soldiers of Valhalla project as a judge. I really dropped the ball on that one, but I still feel like I owe him, so congratulations to Elginb on being admitted to the SoV!
Bixby's Hextreme Heroscape Spreadsheet was recently updated to version 10.0. This was a collaborative update between Bixby, Nomad, and Lefton4ya. We would like to thank all of them for their hard work on this project. The features of the new update are listed below.
Version 10.0 - XLS & ODS versions
W@HS Banner Contest.
Are you skilled with Photoshop? Decent? Just have a lot of free time? Would you like to get the recognition on the front page of Heroscapers? If you answered yes to any of the above questions then the W@HS Banner Contest 2011 is for you! All you have to do is make a W@HS Banner and upload it to the Heroscaper's gallery, then post a link to it in the W@HS thread. If you do not have access to the gallery but would still like enter then please PM your banner to Chardar and he will put it in the gallery for you.
So why should I do this? If you win, you will get a Front Page thank you along with your banner to be featured on every single W@HS until the end of 2011.
Good luck and now go make those banners!

It's 100 degrees here in New York today! If I had more time, I might take out the Tundra just to see if it could cool me off!

It was over 100 here (Indy) yesterday, but it cooled down to 96 today (heat index is still over 100 though). I don't think the tundra sets would help any.
Let's hope it cools down some in the next week or so. Set up for Gencon was misserable last year (they didn't turn the AC on until Wed night/Thur morning) and it was around 90 and humid inside and out |

It was 105 today, and it has been like that for a while. I don't think we are getting much relief anytime soon either. But this awesome pic of ice and snow make me feel a bit hopeful. Thanks!

It's great seeing a W@HS up on the front page again!
Thanks for putting this together! |

The small option in the gallery automatically resizes the images to fit the forum, so size isn't really a problem. Obviously you don't want to be too huge, but be creative. No one says it has to be a rectangle/square.
