Issue 6 of the HS Codex Released!

HS Codex Issue #6, set for release April 1, is jam-packed with information that will lead players on new adventures in HeroScape as well as make traditional games more exciting.

The Codex takes a look at upcoming expansions and release dates, along with a synopsis of Truth's 'ScapeTalk interview with HeroScape creator Craig Van Ness. A review of Wave 6 will help players pick the figures that will help their armies most.

We take an in-depth look at strategies to improve your game along with a method to adjust your game play to force entropy on your opponent start out the mix. A new scenario, The Astral Castle, takes players beyond space and time to a haunted castle that's about to vanish! Heroscape Accessories

Through out the ages of collectable gaming there has always been the "accessory". Accessories are defined as items that are nonessential but desirable, in that they contribute to effect or result.



We have just seen our first official accessory release in the Valkyrie dice and dice bags included with the Flag Bearers. But we've had non-official accessories floating around for some time now.

Magic the Gathering and other collectable card games have their card sleeves, card boxes, and card binders. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to walk into a hall of CCG (collectable card game) players, and find a player without his cards in sleeves. And why not, they protect a valuable investment. (Value is in the eye of the beholder.)
HeroScape has developed its equivalent to the card sleeve. House Mouse Games sells a HeroScape sized card sleeve. And they work...

Codex Issue #4 Released!

The staff of the Heroscape Codex is proud to announce the release of the issue 4 of the fan-created magazine. The Codex is devoted to fans of Heroscape, either casual or devoted, and includes a wide range of game advice, new scenarios, custom units, and much more. The Codex is created entirely by fans of the game, and made available free through the Codex website.
