===============
Motley Max
In the year 2220 AD, Earth is a wasteland. Most of the surviving humans have banded together in small, high-tech cities, fearing the dangers outside the walls. Not everything on the outside is still human, even to science. The cities call them mutants. Motley Max is one.

PDF
The figure used for this unit is a Dungeons & Dragons figure from the Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica set. Its name is Rakdos Ogre.

===============
Cal the Smuggler
The underworld of Arctorus has produced many unsavory creatures. Cal is not one of them, but he does use their tech. It's unreliable, but what is a smuggler supposed to do? He may not know what corner of space-time he's being flung to, but at least he's not stuck. Most of the time.

PDF
The figure used for this unit is John Jones (Justice Rider) #013 from the Heroclix set DC 15th Anniversary Elseworlds.

===============
Kuthnak
Nobody wants to look too close at the magic practiced by the orcs of Grut: underlings animated by bloody magic coursing through their veins, leaving a trail of blood in their wake. Most of it their own.

PDF
The figure used for this unit is a Dungeons & Dragons: Dungeon Command figure from the Blood of Gruumsh set. Its name is Orc Druid.

===============
Breach
Breach has a big sword, a big stride, and a big swing. Whether controlled by Talingul's sorcery or left to his own machinations, he mostly follows the same playbook. Wade through a crowd, step by step, and start swinging.

PDF
The figure used for this unit is a Dungeons & Dragons figure from the Lords of Madness set. Its name is Iron Golem Juggernaut.

===============
Corvor the Tainted One
Those suffering within Corvor's awful Aura of Corruption are in so much pain that, if they are lucky, Corvor will simply tear them in half and put them out of their misery.

PDF
The figure used for this unit is a Pathfinder Battles figure from the Crown of Fangs set. Its name is Leukodaemon.

Also...I'll be doing a "highlight" of these figures for my weekend video on my YouTube Channel. Which 2 should I have face off (with their respective armies of course)?

I don’t know if I understand Breach’s SA entirely. You choose a figure, then choose another figure and hit all figures in between via counter clockwise direction. But, does it really matter that you have to go counter clockwise? If you want to hit the other segment of the circle surrounding breach, all you have to do is target the other figure first and it will hit those figures. I guess I just don’t see the limitation of counter clockwise
Unless there isn’t a limitation and you just choose 2 figs and hit the figures in between on either side. I guess maybe it’s given a direction to make clear that you only hit one side and not both. Cool figures at first glance ![]() |

@Cleon
The answer is that he's clearly swinging the sword in a counter clockwise direction XD
I think the real answer is that if it didn't specify, someone could argue that it hits all figures in between on both segments of the circle. Madness, I know, but without specifying a direction I think you could argue that from a literal reading of the power. |

Haha, that makes sense. Yeah I figured it could just be that it needed to be specified so it’s clear he’s not hitting all figures around him.
Also I just realized he’s a construct, that’s cool. |

Seeing Counterclockwise rulings on a somewhat official card makes my head hurt.
Corvor looks awesome. I dig the slow-moving massive plague aura theme. ~TAF |

Another fantastic release, guys. The Counterclockwise bit gave me chuckle in playtesting too, even though I didn't have the ability to playtest him then.

Motley Max is hands down one of my favorite units, and I haven't even played him yet! The figure, stats, and powers all work incredibly well together. Really cool action shot for the article, too. All around a unit to be proud of. (I do question the blurb, though: it's as dry as the wasteland he lives in!)
@Confred
: I believe he's only the second, after the Ogre Warhulk, but I agree seeing niche Classes/Personalities reused in thematic ways is nice.
Cal the Smuggler has another great photo. Really solid stats for 60 points. Phase Teleport Device seems like a fun, unique power. Looks like he'll make a good filler Hero. Kuthnak seems pretty strong, since he bonds with the Orcs who are already strong. While he might not be a strict upgrade, like Hrognak before him any new options for the faction are still an increase in strength. He does replace a whole Squad of Heavies (and sacrifice them), but a bunch of extra solid attacks may be worth it. I like the idea of Kuthnak with Blade Gruts, though, since they give him so much more fodder. Blades x4, Kuthnak, Grimnak, Nerak even squeezes in at a low 400! Breach is probably my least favorite this pack, but that's not saying much. Another good photo, too (though he seems like he might make more sense heading toward the door to smash it!). Counterclockwise feels weird since it hasn't been done before, but as pointed out it helps clarify the power and determine the order of affected units. Maybe it'll open the door to future powers, who knows. He does feel a bit like a pile of stats for 145, though. Tor-Kul-Na only has +1M, +1L for 220! Corvor the Tainted one doesn't seem like much by comparison for 175, but he's got a hell of a set of powers. Dreadful Presence alone lets him shrug off a lot of low-level units, then Avatar of Corruption on top of that gives him the power to murder them all. 4M but with Flying is always cool to see, especially on a double base. He's slow, inevitable, terrifying (aptly chosen Personality). |

Of all the figures I have worked on in C3V, Corvor is my favorite. Unleash him with his Acolytes, and let Chaos Reign!
