C3V Public Announcements Thread
This is where you can go to get started with C3V (Classic Customs Creators of Valhalla).
This thread lists all the units C3V has released: C3V Books of Index.
Pack 1
HUNTERS AND SCOUTS
Teeth of the Makwa - Aquilla
53rd North Carolina Sharpshooters - Vydar
Hunters and Scouts brings you two common squads from 19th Century Earth.
The Makwa were feared in the forests and on the plains of the West. Every boy and every man learned how to fight alongside his brothers; battlefield prowess flowed through their bodies like blood. They were a natural fit for Aquilla, and she did not miss a chance to take their spirits when she could.
The figures used for this unit are Scenearama figures from the Native American Hunt Scene Setters set.
When the American Civil War began, the trade and industrial resources available to the Union Army were seen as a significant advantage for the North. The South, however, had a long tradition of military service and access to the best military technology of the era. The 53rd combine both, in service of General Vydar.
The figure used for this unit are Scenearama figures from the American Civil War Scene Setters set.
-------------------------------------------
Soon, we’ll reveal a mighty hero for Jandar, a pair of mysterious guardians from Arctorus, and more!

JohnGee, thanks for the brittleness info. I've been proxying these so wasn't aware of that.
And yes, we plan to release the other human in the pack. The buffalo doesn't look good enough on the board though (as tested by those who have the figures). I don't remember any conversations along those lines Tornado. "Shield" doesn't strike me as odd, and I guess it didn't strike anyone else along the way. |

The 53rd while boosted by Laglor and while standing still can boast a massive 11 range, which puts them above DED and Syvarris, seems sweet.

Which one? Hopefully the buffalo. Maybe I'll just start chanting, "buffalo... Buffalo... BUFFALLO..." until we get it (~~~lol~~~) j/k - D_S, don't get your panties all twisted. I could always use them as proxies for some Deathreavers on my own tables.
Thanks @Dwarvenwarrior123 for the info about Laglor bonding with the 53rd. I would have never considered using a Bio-engineered Gorilla in an American Civil War scenario. I may have now rethink the Army I want to bring to D_S's Savage tournament next month, if I can get away from a family affair. |

Welcome to the site,
@BricksterJohn
! As far as I know, Scenearama figures are commonly sold at Hobby Lobby stores and the crafts departments of places like Target and Wal-Mart. You can also order them directly from Scenearama here: http://scenearama.woodlandscenics.co...SARAccessories

I think the Makwa would work well with Zetacron as a sort of screen that doesn't need any OMs. Then again that kinda just sounds like an expensive screen, so maybe not the best idea. Still thinking...

Have you revealed the Jandar Hero yet? I'm guessing not, because the most recent is Brute Gruts/Sentinels, but I WANT TO SEE IT! You guys do such a great job!
