C3V Public Announcements Thread
This is where you can go to get started with C3V (Classic Customs Creators of Valhalla): Welcome to C3V!!!.
This thread lists all the units C3V has released: C3V Books of Index.

C3V brings you Wave CV6, otherwise known as:

WAVE 19!!!

Crevcor's Commission

Beorn Boltcutter - Utgar
Garrett Burns - Utgar
Josie Whistlestop - Vydar
Seleena - Vydar

20th Maine Volunteers - Jandar
Tomb Skeleton Archers - Valkrill
Achillean Gladiatrix - Einar

Xualtiaca Fire Ants - Aquilla
Zettian Deathwings - Utgar

Bramcephys - Utgar
The Varja - Vydar

The Goliaths of the Plains booster brings two big Heroes. Utgar turns to Feylund and recruits Bramcephys. And Vydar finds an Arctorus legend, the dreaded Varja.

People of Arctorus tell tales of a legendary entity that is like a thundercloud that walks the land. This creature is a violent living storm that destroys everything in its wake and stuns the strongest of men. Beware Valhalla, Vydar has summoned the Varja!

PDF File

The figure used for this unit is D&D Minis figures from the Savage Encounters set. The model name is Nightwalker.

Bramcephys hacks and slashes his way through an army of elves on Feylund. They had better put him down quickly, or he will get enraged and wipe them out ... all of them.

PDF File

The figure used for this unit is a Mage Knight figure from the Conquest set. Its model name is Doom Blade Orc Cyclops.

The last glyph is the Glyph of Searing Amulet. This glyph makes your heroes too hot to touch.

PDF File

The Valkyrie generals continue to choose from the new world of Arctorus, and dive into Earth's history, from the time of the Ming Dynasty to the medieval times of Europe. Plus the planet Grut gets revisited. Stay tuned!

Very cool cards, just one question, is The Varja supposed to have no hit zone. He is entirely gray with the exception of his line of sight green dot. I'm really digging both heroes and the glyph, thanks guys.

@TREX IIRC, that means figures have to be adjacent to him to attack.

Both Heroes look amazing! Charos finally has a 9-life challenger.

AWESOME ! Both of them are great. I really like that Bramcephys doesn't have a glaring weakness like so many of Utgar's heavy hitters. He needed a great big beatstick. Excellent additions.

His weakness is he doesn't have any bonding/synergy(Other than Ornak) and is 230 points

Love The Varja!

Nice balance in the release between inexpensive guys and huge clobberers!

The trees behind the big guys make it harder to see their figures in the photos.

Is The Varja one space and Bramcephys two?

If there are 2 Common squad figures of the same squad, can The Varja move through both and trigger 2 Living Storm rolls?

Wow, as usual you saved the best for the last
I really love The Varja. Totally cool powers!
And nice to see they are both anti-ranged units!

Very neat figures! I've really enjoyed seeing the units you've all come up with for this wave; I can't wait to play a game with Beorn and some upgraded Deathwalkers! The Varja looks amazing as well, I just can't seem to find the mini anywhere for under $8, which I know isn't crazy expensive, but still out of this college student's price range for a single figure. I am loving all the cheap heroclix figures from last wave though; I finally placed an order for the lost citadel mage knight set and am looking forward to using Calibrax with my favorite soulborg (see profile pic). Thank you so much C3V for continuing to breath fresh life into heroscape =)

Huzzah! My son has been waiting for The Big Brammer for months, I am sure he will be the first to try him -- which is Terrifying indeed. Nice job with both of these!

Wow! Reading the cards of these two instantly caused me to want to dust them off and start a battle. The Varja adds something unexpected and intriguing. Bramcephys adds a true tank to Utgar. Great work C3V!

One question regarding the glyphs - is there just the card on the download or is there also the print/cut/paste for the glyph? I may be missing something.

The Varja seems weak to bonding melee heroes, so long as you don't let him get to the squads. I could see Krug giving him trouble, and I think the Arrow Gruts might be able to evade him for long enough, but I'm not sure about Knight or Dwarf armies.

One question, though: The Varja can trigger Braced Spear, right?
