Man it has been a great week so far, finally got Heroscape set back up and am getting some game time in, I am testing the new stuff from wave 9 and actually wave 8 that I did not play much of in the last year, basically nothing.
I like wave 9 but I think the gunner kyrie´s are the best of the group, the gladiators make Spartacus at least playable, but not really tournament worthy.
The dwarves are nice, but they need a lot more hero´s and they will never take on the knights, it is more of a counter draft to big guys, but nothing to take to a tourney.
have not used repulsor yet.
Ticilla sunrise is an awesome board and I am glad to be playtesting on it, it is a tough tight board, hard to get around with 2 space guys, and there are some great clog points on it, and I think the tree and shrub placement works great, I am looking forward to checking out more maps for this year, smaller, trying to stop squadscape I think. OK, time to look at maps for a while, Scape On´

Haven't gotten to use Wave 9 yet, but it sounds awesome! Ticalla Sunrise was used at our last tournament, and it was very fun to play on.

I disagree about the Dwarves not being tourney worthy. Just this past weekend Matthias and Fomox got 2nd in a team tourney with Dwarves x5 Q10 and Krav. They did lose to a Knight/Mass army but I still think the Dwarves can be very competitive. As MM has stated some where they work just as good as Rats at grabbing glyphs.
