I thought this neato web application was worthy of mention. It is called the Password Meter and it rates the strength of any password you can think of. It is surprisingly in-depth, however, providing each criteria and rate that makes up part of the percentage.
I know our resident mathematicians here will enjoy it; you know who you are.
Anyway, I got a 56%, which startled me. My password has letters, numbers, and spaces. Another one can be found here; I got an 86%, so I can quit crying.

I was just fooling around, but I figured out that if I added one capital letter and one symbol, I would be 100%.

I just found this; very cool. (Random Blog Entry)
Most of the passwords I use for the various websites I visit scored pretty weak. However, the password I use for online banking scored 94% Very Strong! |

My password for everything got a 10% In other news, the password r4nD0M p4$5W0rD got a 100%, despite just being a funked-up version of 'random password'. My current 10% password is very personal. I don't think the scores are entirely accurate, as there are some very important non-mathematical factors that play in.

Another 100% p4$5W0rD is 1 L1k3 2 B fuNk33 Y3@h!!, or 'I like 2 b funkee yeah!!' Password strength and how easy it is to remember and type seem to be inversely related...

For those who didn't immediately figure it out, the thing I typed is "Gullible" in Leetspeak.
On another note, I fi Set my password to be "R oF4l Pn7 96" I have 100% Strength! Or, use this handy alternative password, which also has 100% strength!
