No 9th in 2009

Though it was quite cool to see this today, Wave 9 Info from House Mouse, I realized later that there will be no new (9th) Elf Wizard in Wave 9.
Which makes it all quite bittersweet.
Unless Kumiko is a dual-class elf ninja/wizard. Valguard got a new lizard arm on Valhalla. It's possible. It says she was "trained." Makes it sound rather recent.
Keep hoping,

I doubt that the ninja is a wizard; my guess is a white ninja for Jandar.

That's what they want you to guess.

Ah crack me up! hilarious. So far gone are the university days when I would have seen that the day it came out.
Just imagine if we had like another year to debate the apparent lack of a 9th Elf Wizard unless she is a ninja wizard. This could really snowball into a serious theory. The bear that shoots lasers out of his eyes (from Feylund) could either be a pet or a common hero for wave 10. |

Well what about Native American elf wizards? Dwarf/elf wizards? marro/elf wizards? CYBORG elf wizards!?!? Or better yet, gladiatorial elf wizards (from Italy...)!

It's not totally inconceivable that the 9th wizard will be the Gen Con exclusive.

It's possible, but I rather doubt it. I'll be looking for a exclusive kyrie this year. |

If it is, I'm hoping I win whatever contest is held (if any) to win one. I <3 Elves...obviously.

I did not want to utter that terrible thought. After trying for nearly a year to get a Skahen on ebay and coming up short in the battle royale, I'm kinda fed up with "exclusives." If there is one I hope it's an ugly repaint of Dund with no synergy whatsoever. Or maybe the fortress door. Like a red fortress door with spikes and counterstrike. That'd be a fan favorite I wouldn't worry about bidding anything on. |

Skahen is only hard to get if you insist on the "official". Every exclusive is a repaint, and in fact, three of four exclusives are repaints of figures that have been widely available at list price for the last several months.

Dok, he actually lives in Africa, so it's a bit harder for him.

I understand it's hard for him to get a real Skahen, but why would it be harder for him to get Knights & Swog, or Gladiators & Agents, than it would be to get (pack containing 9th wizard)?
