This week, we bring you an Event Hero from C3G, Beyonder!
His Mere Pawns ability lets him take control of up to two Unique Heroes for a turn, regardless of their previous allegiance. He can teleport figures within his vision next to him, or even switch them with another figure using his Supreme Summoning power. To keep the fighting going, he can even prevent figures you would be automatically destroyed from being destroyed. Instead, they only receive four wounds do to his Never-Ending Battle special power.

There is a new 4-figure common squad in the works in the C3V Sanctum, and ZBeeblebrox is selling them to 'scapers at a discounted price. The figures (Good Luck Ants from Safari Ltd.) are only available in large buckets, so ZBeeblebrox offered to buy a couple buckets so fans could purchase squads of Xualtiaca Fire Ants at a reasonable cost.

Be ready for their eventual release, buy some ants today! Check out the C3V Ant Sale thread for details.


HoSS
Last week, HoSS brought you a release that expanded each faction with a new commander. However, new things are always coming and you can get sneak previews of figures in the next release by helping to playtest them here.


Heroscaper Guy has decided to cash in his playtesting points to draft the first public exclusive figure, 2-1B. Currently in playtesting, you can check it out here.

Map of the Week
This week we bring you a Scrap Map from our well known map-designer, Dignan!
Slush is a map thrown together with: One Rise of the Valkyrie Master set and one Thaelunk Tundra expansion set. The point-limit recommendation for this map is 300-350 points.

These troopers work best in numbers. There Hive Swarm ability allows you to move and attack with up to nine troopers, assuming you roll high enough. These loyal warriors also work well with Hivelords, allowing a Hivelord to take a turn before they do with their Hivelord Bonding special power. They also have the handy ability to fly, letting them run around the battlefield quickly
