The Big Move

Well, I just completed a major move: Atlanta to Santa Fe. My wife has been working in New Mexico since August while the kids and I were in Georgia. We're excited to be back together and living in such a beautiful place. Our house has a nice view of the mountains and my younger daughter and I have been exploring our acreage and have already found several awesome places to make cool pics with HeroScape minis. (Her idea, not mine. I swear.) The only negative so far is our "rural high speed internet" is slooow. I feel like I'm back in 1998. Anyway, can't wait to be active on the site again once we're all settled. (And to unpack my 'Scape. My wife will kill me if she sees how many boxes it took to hold it all.)

I lived in Atlanta for a few months in the 70's, and visited the Southwest with my late father in the 80's. I met a young New Yorker selling jewelry in the old town square in Albuquerque who said "I came here and called my folks to send my stuff and the dog, and never went back!" Had to teach the bartender in one of those fake adobe hotels in Taos how to make a White Russian, though...
