Image of the Week.
This week's image of the week is brought to you by Typhon2222. When I first saw these in the gallery I immediately thought "Cupidoart is back", which is close to the highest honor I could ever give a piece of custom terrain. See more of his amazing work in his thread.
Custom of the Week.
This week's Custom of the Week is brought to us by Rocktroll. Rocktroll has outdone himself with his near perfect proxies of rare and expensive Heroscape units. You can see the rest of his amazing work in his customs thread, and remember his work is not just limited to units.
In Other News.
Long time mapmaker Mad Wookiee has joined the battlefield's of Valhalla project as a judge. One of the most prominent mapmakers on the site, Mad Wookiee has had a total of 6 BoV nominations, and has had 2 BoV Approvals. Given this excellent record, I look forward to seeing his work.
In addition to joining the BoV, Mad Wookiee has also started a blog called the Cartographer's Toolbox to discuss many of the finer points of map making.
W@HS Banner Contest Update.

We have had one submission so far, and we look forward to seeing more. We have been happy with the interest in the contest so far, so now it's time for some more details.
We will accept submissions until midnight of August 31st. After which we give the current W@HS writers a week to make a decision on which banner they prefer. We will announce the winner in the September 8th W@HS article.
Please submit your entries in the W@HS Submissions Thread, or in a PM to Chardar.

I started following Rock Troll a few days ago when I saw his images in the gallery. I have been meaning to get into molding for years now, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I am glad to see his work in the "taboo" field of figure molding is now acceptable.
